last update in his thread for this game 3/7 - even though the profiles are down right now, I can search by poster and 3/13 is last post by Brick (PBEM33) which was an "I'm really busy in RL right now" post.

Heads up guys, my desktop PC seems to have fried itself (or at least, the boot HD has) so I'm currently trying to fix it. I should not have an effect on my ability to play either PB5 or PBEM34V as my laptop is capable of running CIV. And posting on the net as you see here. However, if I'm a bit unresponsive or slow to play my turn, this is the reason...

smoke on me. Commodore, you're playing in this game already...

But someone needs to get in touch with him outside this thread that he doesn't seem to be checking.

Is there anyone who's available to cover for BrickAstley? If he can't show us that this is a temporary problem, then he needs someone else who can play his turns when he's not around.

I'm spoiled, but I could help out playing a turn or 2 according to his instructions. If he is permanently unavailable, real replacement would be needed.

edit. Now checking his thread he doens't have any updates after the game started. Not sure I can get instructions from him to play.

At what point do we start being concerned about Brick? He's missed 2 of the last 3 turns and he's again last to end turn (this is true ~75% of the time) so no telling if he'll get this one or not.

I'm way past concerned... BRick hasn't posted to RB in 2 weeks. Does anyone have his password?

Either he needs to post here with a "hello" and a plan, or I think it's time to draft a replacement.

Edit: upon further reflection, BRick is still playing (most of) his turns. I just fear he'll completely disappear and I'd like to have someone ready to step in.
