There was a diploscreen from BGN, it vanished due to the frozen game, please resend so I can accept or deny it myself instead of having the game denying it for me. (Insert witty Hal-9000 comment here..)

I'm sorry, Halvgud, I'm afraid I can't do that.

Suttree, I don't even know what to say....Hope Molach is OK! He just played his turn, so I'm finishing up now.
Sorry to stay logged in so long, noticed the neighbor's house down the street was on fire, had to go check it out. Neighbor guy is going to be all when he gets home and see his back porch burned up and that the fire department knocked the stucco off his wall. Then he's going to be like to the other neighbor that had the fire put out by the time I got there with my extinguisher.
Then he's going to be all when he gets the bill from the fire department for coming to check things out and write a report.
Ending turn soon.

You can definitely be billed by the fire department. Happened to a neighbor when I lived in Georgia, she was doing a controlled burn of brush on her property that got way out of control, local fire department had to come in and put it out after it had burned an acre or two. She got a fat bill for that one for her negligence. And probably partially for doing the burn without a permit.
I don't know for sure what the rules are here in Florida but I imagine if the fire department had to roll truck someone is going to have to pay for it. Whether negligence is required to be responsible for the bill or if it will be covered by our local taxes I don't know, I've never let my house catch fire and haven't had to find out yet.

Uh...I'm okay, why shouldn't I be?
 uzzled bewilderment:
Good story about firefighting - he definately should be billed a couple of beers by his neighbours.
