I should probably run some trial runs. Nevertheless I think worker farming the rice and then starting to chop/mine is best course of action no matter what so decided to start worker.

Some map speculation. This isn't Pangea script. It usually doesn't generate as big map as this and grouped peaks as we see NW from our capital. Balanced seems best bet at this point. Despite of the name of the script it usually generates very unbalanced map.

"Balanced" script just means that everyone has strategic resources within a certain distance of their capital (5 tiles If I remember correctly from the time spent digging in the map scripts). It doesn't balance food or happiness or water proximity.
