Can someone create a desktop link that will automatically launch the RBMod? I assume that's easy to do. Silly thing, but what I don't like about this game is that I can't just double click on a PBEM save (like in PBEM20) and have the Mod automatically launch. I'm sure there's a simple way to launch straight to a mod without opening a save, but I don't know what it is.

Scooter - my work firewall makes connecting to PBs tricky also - maybe the two of us can talk to sunrise and see if he can set up some sort of proxy on his end.

You guys should try a VPN. There are several free ones.

This is going to be the PB7 double-move rule right? Basically, double-moving is fine but you've got the 2 hour mandatory waiting period for going last or for not ending your turn. Right? That seems like by far the best rule to me.

That might be good, but my problem tends to be on the ports Civ4 actually uses, which is outside of my control.

Yep, I'll update the first post with that.
With Brick as a turnplayer I think we're ready to roll if we can get a server host and a mapchecker/admin-type. Any volunteers?

I'd volunteer but that might not go down so well. Not that I'd have a nice capital (where is the challenge in that!?) but the server might keep on going down.

I'll do you one better. I use this as a desktop icon, and it lets me choose which mod I want to open, AND it remembers the last mod I chose. It was a life-saver when building RBMod Version 1.0 and 1.1 and 1.2 and 1.3 and...
Civ4 Mod Chooser
It's really nice if you run multiple mods (like FFH), and takes two clicks instead of one if you just run one mod.
