Game reloaded to Ventessel's logout save, Dtay remaining to play the first turn. The timer was under 10 minutes so I grabbed a civ (used Krill's) and logged in to pause the game.

I can't connect right now.  I get what appears to be an infinite loop that says "Contacting established peer 'Ventessel'".

Opening ports 2033 and 2056, for both TCP and UDP, in both directions, doesn't help.

It looks like something on my end, since GermanJoey played his turn just fine.

Edit: never mind, missed the hosts fix right on realmsbeyond.net.
