If needed, but also SPI with easy access to Theocracy can avoid barracks for the first promotion, just spread 40 hammer missionaries in OR and revolt when needed. The border pop is good, but this is even better than AGG barracks as the hammers come from more mature cities.

Turn 004
![]() This is rough. 10 tiles between capitals is doable, but it's really hard for both players to fit a city in between capitals. Settling a city on that jungle tile invalidates everything directly between the capitals, and it's almost as if GKC needs to settle minimum distance to the east. Extremely rough. BW first is completely the right play. Going to check out the full border area asap. (October 13th, 2019, 15:51)Krill Wrote: So, uh, what am I supposed to be doing with Bug mod? Other than the dot mapping tool I've never really used anything actively. Just used the passively provided changes. Yes, most changes are passive like moving info from a tooltip to the actual screen (e.g. the great person percentages in the city screen). But if you are looking for more active features the new + and - buttons in the top left are a nice feature, for quickly switching between 0% and 100% science. Most of the time BUG should make playing civ just a bit more convenient. I was also very conservative when I added features. Next version will most likely include many changes to the scoreboard.

That is exactly what I'm thinking. That it is flat land, and there are two hills facing the opponent.
I don't think the gold is claimable. (October 13th, 2019, 15:51)Krill Wrote: So, uh, what am I supposed to be doing with Bug mod? Just provides information that is already there. You can do the math on how much overflow you get from a whip, or just look at what BUG provides. You can check your spreadsheet to remember when to swap the cottage from cityA to cityB, or with BUG you can set a reminder that pops up on the appropriate turn. The whip angry timer is more detailed. Again, information you could track manually. In the slow format of Pitboss, you can track it all anyway, so it doesn't do a lot. Well, unless you are a filthy casual like me. (October 15th, 2019, 20:45)Elkad Wrote:(October 13th, 2019, 15:51)Krill Wrote: So, uh, what am I supposed to be doing with Bug mod? Turn 008
![]() Someone has fish. I'm just waiting on BW to find where copper is before I decide the plan. It could be anything from warrior rushing (specifically playing for a choke so I can set up around the gold tile) to playing more passively. Scout will finish up to the east and then wander over to the west. I'll be going warrior next, not scout, because of the need for units to deal with GKC. That isn't implemented right now, as I wasn't sure if it is considered too much for RB.
