Yes, the GNP is bloated by the 1.4 tech modifier, but the extra trade routes will keep the number around this level with only a 1.2 tech modifier, so I'm not totally out of the tech race, compared to scooty.

Overflow a bunch of hammers for the market, continue to tech really fast...though FWIW, Bureaucracy would give me another 30 commerce per turn. Currency will give me another 32 from trade routes but is spread over all my cities instead of the Academy and library city. Currency is cheap enough for me to be happy aiming for that first...

Note, 1 archer allows a further 4 HA to be built on consecutive turns. I'm probably going to put off growing WTF? with the war with azza so close, but about 10 turns before I get Machinery I'm going to have to get the city growing again, to be able to consistently 1 turns the more expensive medi units. I don't know when that is, though.

I think I need about 65 worker turns worth of improvement to get this city to 10 improved tiles, all hills mined, all three river tiles farmed, so T170. But the city should hit size 10 significantly before then, so I probably need to build a worker here.

Turn 135 - Wonders are Fun

OK, the next 3 turns reports should be going up tonight, but there are a lot of pictures to post, but not an awful lot to really say for each of them.

This is a fairly big island, and it's definitely worth settling. I'm surprised that yuris hasn't settled it yet, but I can't see him ignoring it for much longer, he should be finishing settling the main continent in the next 15 turns IMO.

That 15 sign really should say 17, and while I've deleted it by T137, I'm not sure exactly when it was I deleted it. This will likely be hte last worker I make from the core until I need to change mines and farms to windmills or watermills.

unit supply will go up a little when you attack azza, but then, you'll lose units in the attack, so it's kind of self-correcting wink

Turn 136 - Setup

This army is the highest power in the game. Note, 12HA, 9 chariots, and 4 jags.

10HA, 8 chariots and 2 jags, all ready to go hurt someone. I'm relying on archers everywhere else for defence, and 2 jags over by Nazul, and the units from WTF? are still streaming down and need to be allocated on a turn by turn basis.

The aim is to finish roading the jungle next turn, road the forest 1N of WMW, and then use the workers 3 and 89 of SMS to road under the fastmover stack. Then the stack moves 771 and stops out of site of azzas borders, but able to attack his city from the FoW, after the sentry chariot checks out the defenders. Foolproof? Hell no, 4 spears in that city and I'm declaring on Pingo to bump my units out of his borders then immediately moving in on him.

One way or another, I'm getting ivory.

13*3+53=92 culture. Music allows cities to build culture. I think I can build 8 hammers of culture over the next three turns to pop borders one turn sooner, and then onto an acher or 2 for more defensive surety.

So...much...jungle. I need to road SW of SMS for a path for the GA to go bomb azzas city, so Pingo can't snipe it. That likely means I'm going to have to use all 4 workers to do the road, and the worker from DP will chop the forest. Then as the workers are redistributed thy can move 3 tiles and drop chops into the jungle as appropriate.

Third tile to improve is the roaded jungle hill, after that I'm going to position one worker on the jungle hill 2N, jungle hill 1SE and the grass river jungle 2E, road all of them, then use all three workers in the area to improve one at a time, as needed. And quite likely build a fourth worker to delay growth, but it is not set in stone just yet.
