Yeah, fair enough. I think his ranking of EXP as the best expansion trait is total bullshit though. No way that stacks up to PRO.

The other thing though is he is already making judgements about what other players will do, like saying Seven has Lib in the bag if he wants it. He's basically completely ignoring the effect that the map and neighbours can have on the game. It's basically the #1 mistake that Deity players make.

Yeah, I agree that EXP doesn't deserve as much praise as he's giving, but the part about him giving predictions of what other players will do is actually what I like about the posts. I didn't take it as him ignoring the effect of the map but that because he doesn't know the map yet he can't take it into account

The strong bit was mainly referring to Boudica of Rome, that seems like a very nice combination to me.
Why the laughter/confusion about Gav's pick? It's not like you want to be spamming monuments as non-Creative either. Techs are what the start called for, oromomomo aren't bad and upgrade quite nicely.

Can someone please translate for me what GermanJojo is so angry about? That he has some strategic choices at the beginning of the game which are superior to others? That he's playing in a multiplayer civ game instead of by himself? That he thinks he's the victim of a twisted vision of Krill's to make him relive the existence of Retep in PB16? I'm kind of confused.
Maybe it's just that I've been trained to think that 12 tiles from a neighbor is actually pretty roomy. |
