sounds like a plan. after he techs it though smile.

hell, we might as well get meditation then, after priesthood and writing. Then we can brag that we got every single ancient tech before getting 1 classical tech wink.

Meditation might be a stretch. Much less necessary since we'll get OR. Priesthood is great because it gives 3 prereq boni. Meditation only gives boni to priesthood.

I was mostly being glib. Meditation is more expensive than priesthood, so prob not worth it. Even though we do get a known tech bonus on it from serdoa, and can probably find a use for the tech bonus from the monasteries wink.

you're right though - we've been forced to delay the math/calender/currency line too long as it is.

edit: also, boni is not a word, tongue.

well Serdoa declined our map trade. Not terribly surprised. I'll try again once we find his borders.

Feeling really isolated from the rest of the world here :/.

Of course it is. It is the plural of bonus. The relevant rule in English is that if you use a word taken directly from Latin, you use Latin grammatical rules to pluralise it. Therefore you get forum>fora instead of forum>forums.

And Edit no. 2: Here's hoping that PB9 will keep Azza Snrub distracted from the real game here.

the plural of bonus would be bonii in Latin. Boni is not a word in Latin, either. And as Krill pointed out, the second "boni" should be singular anyway :P.

Azza is Rome in Pb9 as well, lol (randomized just like this one). He'll have strength 8 praets, not the nerfed strength 7 praets. I'm ded-lurking TT there, so i hope he doesnt try to get revenge wink.

Yeah how the neck he got Rome twice.
And its proper Rome in pb 9 not the nerfed crop your facing.
Not quite randomized, they chose Rome from a random set and then randomized who got it. :/

ok, I'm dumb. Still adjusting a bit to the rbmod. Azza is charismatic, which why he never felt the need to hook up his gold. Charismatic now gets a flat +2 happy per city (no bonus for monuments, although it still gets a +1 happy for broadcast tower and the cheaper promotions). Why didn't anyone correct my turn report, are you guys even reading them? cry

Which makes me wonder why he kept his city at level 6 for so long. His capital could have reached level 7 from the beginning, yet he was at level 6 for some 30 years or so, only hitting level 7 one or two turns after we DOW.

he stayed at size 6 so that he could work some hammer tiles have a scary #1 MFG. surely that would prevent his northern neighbors from declaring on him and he could expand peacefully.
