I'm thinking Mining>BW works here now, what with the fast growth from the pig and cow as the second tile to hook (and not hooking the cow until eot t25), but I could be wrong and Agri first works (I'm thinking second worker at size 3, MM the warrior to finish at size 3).
Also, need a theme, so ideas welcome.

OK, as I see it there are X opening tech options:
- Meditation/Polytheism - settled last in the game, with 3 other players starting with Myst. Not that promising.
- Fishing. Duh, no.
- The Wheel...WTF? Why would I want that unless I go straight for pottery? I do want cottages, and I don't want them at turn 50, but...I got other stuff to do.
- Agriculture. Reasonable, means I can theoretically just go worker>warrior>settler, leaves open BW or Pottery as third tech, allows me to hook my second food resource, but I already have 2 tiles that I want too hook, and I'm going to waste 3 worker turns just getting them hooked.
- Animal Husbandry. Nothing to camp, don't have spare hammers for a scout, horse would be nice but I already got 3 solid tiles to work.
- Archery...nah.
- Mining. Opens up BW and I have 11 forests to chop in my capital, of which at least 6 have to go (hills or river forests). Have 1 tile to mine pre-BW.
The only two reasonable options are Agri and Mining IMO, but the question is...what gives the best path to the first settler? The answer to that question isn't easy, I don't think I'm going to get the settler out before turn 40...
