I went ahead and PM'd Lord Parkin to see if he was interested. If we don't get a solid 5th captain pretty soon, 4 teams may be necessary only because 4 solidly interested teams is better than having a 5th "tumbleweed" team. 5 teams is definitely preferable though.

I would also like to join a team as a lurker. I do not think I can contribute that much, but I would like to try at least. I have no preference for a certain team, so if any team has a shortage I would like to join that team.

I'd be happy to be a captain for the 5th team if you guys want me, though I won't have a huge amount of time available. You could tentatively put me down if you want. I should be able to find a couple of interested folks, hopefully at least one of whom can play most of the turns. If anyone on the sidelines is interested in joining me, they'd be most welcome too of course.

LP just rang me up on Gchat. Count me in for teaming up with him. I haven't actually read any of the details for the game yet (suppose I'll go do that now), but I'm in.

I'd be the primary turn player for our team, as me & him just discussed. We had talked about teaming up in a game since the demise of PB7 anyway, with him being the loud voice behind us and me being the primary turn player, etc, etc. And this makes a good opportunity for that.
