To answer a couple questions:

Rice has access to Fresh Water.

I will try, but can't guarantee anything.  Typically GermanJoey makes those from his maptool; as he's playing that's not an option.  When I've used his tool in the past, things were usually either super-easy, 5 minutes of work, or else hours and hours, depending on whether I could wrap my head around the functions' syntax.

In any case, sims will not be available until about the time you're starting the game.  If you want to sim to choose civs, you'll have to make your own sim for that.

Mardoc, try using the easy_click tool. Since this is an ancient-era start, I don't think you'll have troubles like you did with in PB35's map.

In any case, please don't waste hours of your time trying to figure it out! We all appreciate all the time you spent making the map as it is!

I'll definitely give it a try. My knowledge of your tool is at a frustrating level right now: I spend almost as much time figuring out how to do things with the tool as it would take me to do everything by hand. But not quite, and of course learning should be mostly a one-time cost, while time savings are forever.
