I was able to start and connect to a test pitboss using the mod without issues. Both on LAN and Direct IP ( using public address of my router ). That test game is still running btw, people can PM me for IP if they want to try connecting
So I'd guess it's something with your network setup. Firewall? Port Forwarding?

Is it possible at all that it's a DynDNS issue with having several games running at once? I have no idea - just throwing out ideas. I'm just confused as to how you'd have no firewall/port issues with two games but suddenly have it with a third.

@Sunrise, have you ever tried to host three pitboss games at the same time before? I don't know the requirements for port forwarding, etc, but if you - or anyone - has a link I'd be glad to review it and see what I can come up with. Maybe there are a limited number of ports that your router can forward, or they're overlapping between the three games you're hosting (this is basically what scooter said).

IIRC, PB1, 2, and 3 were all concurrent for a month or so

This is correct. The port forwarding and DNS setup is identical to those games.
I just took RBP5 back down and put up a test game at the same IP. The only difference is mod vs no mod. I predict you will be able to connect to this game without issue.
So...either it isn't possible to run multiple pitboss instances intermixing a mod and the core game (yet without affecting ability to connect to the vanilla games at all), or I'm doing something wrong when loading the mod game. Can someone confirm where the mod should be installed?
Mist, can you detail your clicks to get the mod pitboss working on your end?

Also Mist - any chance you can try to run a vanilla bts and a mod game at the same time and see if you can reproduce the problem? If you can, we'll need a different host. If you can't, the problem may yet be on sunrise's end.

Mods normally go into your main Civ IV folder \Beyond The Sword\Mods
Not sure if Pitboss has any different requirements.

Mist tried and was also unable to host a vanilla BtS pitboss and a mod pitboss side by side. I'm a little unsure why it was fine for FFH and it's a problem here, but the short of it is, Sunrise will not be able to host for us unless there's a workaround we can find. So in short, we're in need of a host. Is anyone able to host?
