Is that character a variant? (I just love getting asked that in channel.) - Charis

I am all for DOW'ing Trolls and trying to mess with their micro. If we could destroy even one tasty tile improvement or put some fear into their workers, it could totally set them back.

I'm also in favour of choking if there are decent chances of disrupting their worker micro. Although on second thought, weren't we halfway planning on a temporary alliance with Trolls to pull a 3v1 on either Gillette or Beasties?

Okay so I started the turn with the scout:

There's the M3 scout.

Next I moved the warriors and declared war:

I moved the warrior onto flat plains and gave him the C1 promotion. I thought about going onto the forest, but in the end I think we want to draw that warrior south.and let our north warrior come in to the west where there is a good possibility of the second city. Please note that, yes, They have mined their hill pig. lol

They do not have AH obviously but they do have BW and they are currently in slavery! This means that they can whip, though their cap is size 2. It also means that they have a settler and that that settler is currently on the move but is not settled yet. This is the usual timing of switching into slavery, do it while the first settler is in motion. It's what we're going to do too.

They will see our 2nd warrior coming due to that second hill they have next to the first in their north ring. I was hoping to hide behind the first hill.

I think M3 got another warrior last turn. We should talk to Pirates and see whats up. Very possible M3 is building warriors because they think we are next to them... shhh They only have contact with us and Gillette. We're in danger of losing Pirates on our graphs because we are their only contact. I really don't want to have to spend more EPs on our friends. rolleye

Kill. Everything.

Also, the mine on the pigs means they have no intention of researching AH for a while.

Interesting Turn starts with the scout:

Then we get to the meat of the turn. The Trolls moved a second warrior onto the hill so I moved deeper in and onto cover:

I was going to simply post what happened, but this move is really our only option. Our second warrior is going to seriously throw them off next turn.

At home we finished a mine + we finished a settler + we finished BW:

Our warrior will finish next turn and then the turn after we switch to Slavery. The Copper is to our north. Also Pirate copper is behind them as well. This means Comm most likely put the copper behind each capital. Our warrior circling south might be able to get between their settler (which STILL hasn't settled) and their copper. At the same time our warrior from the north can harrass.

This brings up thoughts of what strategic resource we should settle:

If we settle there with a third settler we can grab horses in the second ring as well as the deer, sheep, cow and gold. Worth thinking about.
Demos and Power:

Looks like M3 is gearing up with power I fear for Pirate pink dot. We should pass this on.
