Just need to solve happy issues and then go back to basics. Lit and Calendar still wanted though, especially if no police state. Monarchy to Calendar and chop MoM seems wisest? Or do you want to figure out if a GL rush is viable?

Glib rush is doable. I'm leaning towards heading to lit after HBR and then into either government or calendar. I'll be settling furs in a few turns and I'm eyeballing the gold as well. That would take some of the happy pressure off. I want to get a Wonder tech first so I'll have something worthwhile for the remains capital forests that need to come down to make way for more cottages and mines. Lit also cones with HE ( Assuming I can get 2 more xp in the right place). And the Music Great Artist is a thing.

It seems Civ4 is a bit more sensible than I thought when it came to parcelling out trade routes. Founded L.A.X. this turn on the island and we now have 1 IC and one foreign trade route in all our mainland cities. I had thought that the game assigned trade routes city by city and assigned all the foreign routes first. Works out pretty well here.
gonna be founding another northern city a bit sooner than planned:
3 settlers currently under produtction: 1 for furs, 1 for 2nd island and one for border city in the north. HBR due next turn.

Care regarding solvency. We are only at 25bpt breakeven. Horizontal growth has risks but agreed about grabbing resources. I acknowledge wealth building is needed and available.

Yeah I know we're riding the econ pretty hard. Got some cottages developing. Gold and furs for vertical room will help.
But there are some excellent city sites to grab. CoL may need to happen after Lit.

CoL matters more for courthouses, so I'd argue that the happy cap to grow to size 8 and stack a bit of whip anger is also important. Need to grab granary, lighthouse and a way to spread religion into the city ideally before this, from OR. Maybe HBR>Mono>Aesthetics>Lit works out. Monarchy in between does mean single revolt though...but also want OR asap to whip that missionary to speed up the GP?

Mono(revolt)-->Calendar-->Aesthetics-->lit-->(drama)-->Music-->Monarchy (GA with MoM, revolt to HR and religion on turn 1 and aim to have Feudalism in time for the Vassalage revolt on the last turn of the GA)
Aim to pick up Metal Casting, CoL and Fued in 9 turn GA. That just leaves Iron Working, Machinery and Guilds. Construction be nice to have as well.
Aim to chop out MoM in one of the expansion cities and Glib in cap. Or chop MoM in capital then hand build Glib. i think i like that better.

t63 is done and so is monotheism.
2nd island city t71 I think. Furs city settled t65, 3t to pop borders....t68 2 chops complete galley, t69 settler loads, ect ect.
No religions have spread yet. Gonna whip a settler t65 and revolt t66 I think. OR will currently cost 2gpt. Feuer Frei will likely shift to wealth starting t64 with Sex Dwarf joining in t65.
That will get Calendar eot 69. Fort on incense completes t67 but can be delayed if worker turns are needed for FF.
Oh, and the barbs have settled the gold on a flatland tile.  Axe and vet chariot are due there in a few turns.

No early HE.  Just lost the 8 xp chariot at 89% odds.

FFS, what is the next highest XP unit? We have HBR, so we can always just put the hammers into barracks and stables and try to find 5XP on a HA.
