No - I don't think that is appropriate ... he probably hates India with a passion
I have finally decided to put down some cash and register a website. It is www.ruffhi.com. Now I remain free to move the hosting options without having to change the name of the site.

Game paused.
Last turn we got hunting. I had placed some hammers into warriors the turn before, anticipating that those queued warriors would turn into spears. They did not, and I suppose it has to do with some mechanics being different in pitboss compared to single player? Either way I figured I would just whip some spears from scrath then, and have the production already in the warriors plus the whip overflow finish off a second set of spears. Well, I 2-pop whipped two cities last turn but upon logging in this turn I see that no spears have finished. In the top of the build queues I have spears with the hammers I had in warriors plus the normal production from one turn spent in them, but the hammers from the slaving have disappeared in thin air. Does this event justify a reload? I fully acknowledge that my lack of understanding of pitboss mechanics is probably what caused it so I won't rush off crying if a reload isn't justified. In SP games and some MP games (pbem) warriors auto change to spears during the 'end of round' processing. My understanding is that this occurs in pitboss after all of the teams have ended turn (ie when the turn rolls). In SP (and PBEM), end of round processing appears to happen after the player ends his turn. It certainly did that for me (ie warriors auto change to spears after I pressed that little red button) in a recent game.

Personally, I think that you can argue that this does justify a reload. I'm not sure how far back we would have to go. What would happen if they whipped the warriors - would they auto change into spears and with the whipped hammers overflowing?

Sandover Wrote:Game paused. The issue in the 2nd paragraph is of much more concern IMHO. Can you confirm the following: 1) You had metal hooked and spears were eligible to build. 2) You had 4pop in some city. 3) You 2pop whipped a spear and left the queue alone. 4) You didn't have production automated. 5) The turn rolled, you kept access to metal. 6) No spears were built AND the pop was still gone from the city. If all 6 are true that seems like a true bug and may deserve a reload. My concern is that metal access was lost between logins, a different member of the team logged in and changed the queue, or the turn didn't actually roll yet ![]() Also, you made sure you didn't have a rally point set somewhere, right? |
