Could this mean that Khmer/Kongo might stay in the game for significantly longer? Because if Sulla/Singaboy DoF them, Woden/CMF will start being paranoid and might not commit forces fully. Like I said before,

I doubt team SS will dof JC, but OBs would let them clobber WC. I don't know if SS are that reckless, but it'd be fun to see...

We are all assuming that Japper takes the peace deal. He objectively should, but don't count out the emotional appeal of holding out for a peace deal where Sullla returns the original cities.

I think the way the timing works, Japper would end up with both a peace deal AND a DoW on the same turn, so I’d assume he’d be far more likely to take the deal to avoid a double-war.
It's hard to see why he would do so since CMF and Woden are now at war with him. Japper will likely view this as a godsend.
Sullla's paranoia at being dogpiled is quite understandable, but I have to say, it's remarkable how hard he managed to talk himself into thinking CMF and Woden were out to get him in such a short period of time. I'm curious what his reaction will be when he realizes instead of playing mind games with CMF & Woden, he's actually been shadow-boxing himself these last dozen turns.
Sullla might end up the winner from all this: if Japper moves everything east then he may have far less defenses to combat in 10 turns

I doubt Cornflakes will let Japper completely strip down the western defenses though. They both have to know this is a 10-turn armistice. I expect the Roman and Anglo-Nubian armies will both reach Heart of Darkness about the same time, ~t115
Singaboy is misremembering what was agreed to: you can only city-gift once; no other restrictions. The first post suggested wartime but it changed after Cornflakes's post. I'm guessing Cornflakes realized trading captured cities at once was not possible and came up with that rule in response.

Hold off for now, Sullla will likely catch the mistake, or at least ask for clarification in the organizing thread. Can anyone cite the relevant post that shows the rule they adopted? |
