Is there a way I can get a reload (even 20-30 minutes?) so I have enough time to play my turn? I had Antisocialmunky lined up to cover for me this weekend while I was away, but he never showed to play T111, and now it's paused with just 33 seconds, which isn't anywhere near enough time, and I'm stuck in a diplo window or two anyway. I understand that reloads are usually offered for technical reasons first, but I did this entirely so I wouldn't have to pause over this weekend and keep the game moving.
Since we're under Krill's (unrelated) pause for another 19 hours, there's some time to work this out.

With the game paused anyway, I think it would be silly not to reload and give Cyneheard a chance to play; he can pause it again when the timer gets close to what it is now.

Ok, Cyneheard, what I think is fair is this:
Since this is a non-mistake reload, but also not one to use as a "do-over" and since Krill has already used an official pause, I think a reload is fine. You may want to work out with Krill if he wants like half a pause from you or the like, but that's not up to me.
What save do you want me to reload from?

I don't care what happens, I'm ok with using my pause for this (I'm currently figuring out a build change or two due to an oversight on my part earlier in the turn).
I will finish my turn in the morning, around 0745 GMT, so my only request is that everything is done by this time.

you can actually do quite a lot in a pause ... change city builds, give units orders, change tech research, etc then unpause, repause and ... bingo ... there you go.
I have finally decided to put down some cash and register a website. It is www.ruffhi.com. Now I remain free to move the hosting options without having to change the name of the site.

Did I miss something? Game appears to have been unpaused and the turn has rolled. I thought Krill needed time to consider a build change for last turn hence the pause in that turn?

Had unpaused it with England to be able to complete a needed trade, but the turn rolled while doing so. I'll admit I'm not entirely up to date on what is happening with the reload, so it might be a moot point that the turn rolled while making a trade if we need to reload anyway. Probably need to hear from Krill and England as to what needs to happen.

Uh ... I notice from civstats that a couple people have ended turn since the turn rolled. Krill requested a pause during the (now-)previous turn and paused the game with time left on the clock. If I'm reading this thread correctly, his window to play will be about half an hour from *now*, as I write this. Some timing mistakes by non-Krill players resulted in the turn rolling in spite of his pause. I think we clearly need a reload at this point, at least to Krill's last login. I've paused the game in the meantime....

Checking game now to see if it is salvagable. If not will need a reload and will play tonight in 12.5 hours.
