I have some free time, so I why don't I start by analysing my opponents.

But first I need the committee to decide whether I list them alphabetically, by perceived skill level, by timezone, favorite colour or food, religion (if known), age, general Coolness, special Coolness, whine factor (on a Krill scale), likeness to J. Bieber, astrological sign (Western or Chinese), distance to the Fertile Crescent, diet, resemblance to animals, bad habits or tics.

Tasunke:

I know absolutely nothing about this guy.

A newcomer at RB, I found this in the "Welcome to RB" thread:

Tasunke Wrote:but I've clocked easily 1000 hours on FFH2, while perhaps less than 100 hours on BTS.

I'd say about 200 of those 1000 FFH2 hours could be attributed to MP, while another 200 could be attributed to (attempted) modding of FFH2.

However, most of those MP games were very casual "role play" type games, with very ambiguous rule sets (which sometimes caused frustration and misunderstanding during/because of wars, religion choices, etc), and usually against those who were either new to MP or new to FFH.

I'm going to guess he probably knows the Mod, but isn't very good at playing the basics of Civ (worker micro, long term thinking, tactical planning).

Lewwyn:

I think he's been around for about a year, and has already gained a reputation as a solid, if erratic BtS player. This is his first foray in FFH multi-play.

So during the game, I guess Lewwyn will expand well, but lack of a long term strategy will hold him back.

Threat level: **

DaveV:

One of the first FFH2 dedicated lurkers, DaveV assisted BobCW in RB's first FFH2 PBEM.

What I've seen in the threads so far, is a player with great FFH2 knowledge, maybe not always matched by his civ skills.

Threat level: **

Ichabod:

Excellent player, good civ skills. I think he'll be my main competitor.

Threat level: ***

Tholal:

I know absolutely nothing from this guy, apart from the fact he made an AI mod for FFH2 called Naval AI.

New to multiplayer, so I'm going to put him at Tasunke's level for the time being.

Hmm, I suppose it's too late to ask for a dedicated lurker?

The lurkers haven't seen a map yet, just discussions about which civs to make the picks from, hence nobody is really spoiled right now, so ask away

Since you have such a high opinion on your opponents wink
