Nice picks! Spiritual/Creative is an incredible combo and the Bannor can be great fun too.
But I didn't understand the PBEMXII comment.

I think Iskender is his ded-lurker. I've been reading all threads in PBEMXII.
I'll post a brief intro here later tonight.

Both your names begin with I, so you must be the same person no?
(sorry for the mix up, Flu'd up to the eyeballs and seriously not with it today).

No problem. The names are indeed similar and its easy to mix-up.
Ah, this thread will be updated in two different ways. The yellow text, like Zakalwe did in WW8, are role play and story posts. The normal text are OOC comments, about micro, settling decisions and so forth.

Chapter I - The Beggining of the Second Age of the Bannor
The age of ice was hard to the mankind. Much of it didnât survive the coming of the great white, the calm and still snow that covered the land and subjugated life. The ones that did, it could be said that they were no longer man. They were forced to live like beasts, losing the traits that elevated the mankind above the other life forms. Civilized life no longer worked for the ones who wanted to survive, in fact, it worked against them. And as the generations passed, the knowledge that people once had started to be forgotten.
The Bannor were a strong people. Their harsh traces and their social organization based on honor and strength made their survival easier than others, with more egalitarian structures. They firmly believed in the future glory of their nation, led by a leader, the representation of a god in the human world that was yet to be born. This belief kept the Bannor going against the hostile environment, sometimes battling for survival with other nations, without holding back. They were the chosen ones and needed to prove their worth until their glory would come.
The Bannor were ruled for ages by a clan of regents, the Phaedras. Their leaders were called regents, not kings, because the only true king was the yet to be born god. And the Phaedras were the clan with the mission of finding this god. Even during the worst times of the Age of Ice, were the blizzards blinded the man and the skin froze and shattered to anyone crazy enough to explore the wilderness, men of the clan went in missions to unknown places to look for their deity. When one of the oracles had a vision that was interpreted as a sign of the coming of the messiah, even the frozen hell itself wouldnât stop a member of the Phaedra clan.
Many men died in these unforgiving and fruitless missions, but the belief of the Bannor were stronger than their minds and bodies. They kept going, without showing any kind of doubt. And this way the age of ice passed. The white started to recede and the colors started to fill Erebus again. But the Bannor never settled, even near green fields and fertile rivers. Not until their fulfilled their destiny. Until then, theyâd kept exploring, searching for their long awaited promised glory.
The nomadic lives of the Bannor lasted until the reign of Sabathiel Phaedra, known as the last regent. When Sabathiel was born, a lot of the Bannor people thought he was the Messiah. His face had the beauty of an angel, but his eyes, even when he was still recently born, were filled of wisdom. Like he was already aware of the whole story of the Bannor and he knew things he had never seen.
When the oracles declared that he was, in fact, not the Messiah, there were whispers in the people about them being wrong. Or worst, that they were intentionally misguided, not wanting to recognize the sanctity of the boy. This suspect was made worse because the same Oracles that declared he was not the Messiah also said he was to be treated with extreme care, without taking many risks â like the usual training of the Phaedra clan boys was made. The people couldnât understand this decision. But since there was no room for doubt in the Bannor society and it wasnât long before that decision was accepted.
The Oracles were indeed right. Sabathiel was not the Messiah. He was, in fact, the man destined to find the Messiah. And the oracles knew it, ever since they saw his eyes: those eyes didnât belong to a god, they belonged to someone that had already seen a god. When Sabathiel was sent on his first mission to look for the Messiah, based on the vision of one of the youngest Oracles, there was a lot of expectation. Could it be that after that long wait the destiny of their people was about to be fulfilled?
When Sabathiel returned, he was riding a horse that pulled a covered wagon. There was a kind of glow emanating from inside the wagon, with a color that couldnât be described, since it was never seen before anywhere else. In the present time, they called this color Arendel. Arendel, that sometimes looked like the color of spring itself; the color the sunlight bathing the old trees covered with new foliage; Arendel, the color of autumn; the color of life getting prepared to live through the winter while also knowing that better times were one day going to return. But on that day, that glow revealed to the Bannor that their Messiah had been found.
When the council gathered, with the representatives of each clan, they all knew what Sabathiel was about to say. But he still said it, with a voice that carried the heaviness of the whole history of a nation:
âThe Messiah has been found. We shall build a palace and settle here. And from this place we shall develop, expand and conquer. From here, we shall attain our glory. Forever live the Messiah! Forever live the Bannor nationâ.
And in that day, Torrolerial was found and the second age of the Bannor civilization began.

Thanks, Mardoc. Let's see how long this will continue. Hopefully a long time (which would mean that I didn't lose motivation to do the writings and that my game is going well :neenernee).
