Here are the choices we rolled for you - when you've decided whether to keep the civ or reroll it, and which (if either) of the leaders you want to keep, post the inforrmation here to let us know.

Options:
Hatshepsut (Cre/Spi)
Pericles (Cre/Phi)
Greece

Your start:

The essential form of the BFC may be relied upon, though we might still make superficial changes e.g. to whether the trees are deciduous, conifers, or snowy, and we might imaginably even rotate the whole thing 90 degrees or something since the surrounding terrain is still being finalized. The corner tiles may yet change, and the fog is a fabric of lies, but at least you've got your start!

Thanks to everyone who voted. Unfortunately the voting process was rigged and the election results may not necessarily be representative of the votes that were cast. However do not trouble me yourself over this minor issue because did you know at this very moment in other game threads there are people conspiring to stop us and stop our agenda and take away your futures? Yes it's very dreadful but I will help you all. Only I can stop them! Put your trust in me. You'll all do so well under my government I'll do so much better. You may not actually do better but you'll think you're doing better because those people you don't like will be doing worse, we'll see to that. So it's just like winning and we all like winning, don't we? That's right, you're almost there with me now.

Hatshepsut
Greece

No one can stop us, see, we're going to do so well together. You all see it. Now go tell all your friends so they can win with us too. Say it with me, Hatshepsut, Greece. You're almost there, you're believing it now. One more time!

Hatshepsut.
Greece.

See? You're with me. Now it's just like you voted for it. Now you know it's what you wanted all along! That's how I can help you all, I'll give you what you didn't even know you wanted. We'll win this together! Isn't that great, folks?

This is how democracy works now. Welcome to the 21st century! I believe my views of what the people want are more representative of the views the people are able to express on their own. You'll agree with me eventually, one way or another!

Interestingly some players chose to reroll and not go with the first random pairing presented to them.  That's fine for them, but by taking the first options RefSteel presented to me I can still claim to have always played a random combo in every game I've played at RB.  So if for some reason I don't end up winning this I can claim it is because I handicapped myself compared to the rest of the field rather than having to admit to any failures on my part during the game.  Because obviously this is all going to go according to plan and we will succeed beyond our capabilities to even imagine the vast heights we will ascend together.  Or, if we fail, it will be because some among you didn't believe enough in our cause and were therefore unworthy of success.  But we're obviously not going to fail, so I don't know why I even said that, except as a premeditated justification for failure which I definitely don't need since I --no, WE - will surely surpass all levels of previous or future possible human achievement.  Prepare yourselves to bathe in glory, for henceforth it is all we shall ever know!

Hi, here's your MapCad-generated sandbox to help you plan your opening. You'll need to have RtR 2.0.8.4 installed. If something doesn't work as it should, let me know.
