Peace treaties are over. Commodore has no stack nearby. Amicalola does, but pretty sure he's just fighting with SD. I'm trying to get a better look.
Gavagai's main stack doesn't seem to be moving anymore.
Are you, in fact, a pregnant lady who lives in the apartment next door to Superdeath's parents? - Commodore |

Btw just in case, I will concede if or when everyone else has. I want to keep playing, but I don't want to be selfish and keep 7 other players playing if they don't want to. The whole premise of this game for me was to see if I can get to space with a smaller empire and nothing has changed about that. I expected there to be a runaway leader in the game, and I feared people would concede way before any chance to reach an actual victory condition. It was probably a fool's errand to even try. But yeah, I wanted to put that out there since I got prodded a few times. What do you lurkers think, should I keep playing until the end?
![]() I turned research on. This batch of gold will get us through to Cuirassiers in 7-8T. ![]() Here's an overview shot of the empire. Recovery has gone well. We could snipe back our old cities at any time too, if we so wish.
Question: Do queue'd Knights turn into Cuirassiers if requirement techs are reached on turn over?
Back in my day we only had Cavalry.. *old man noises* (January 26th, 2021, 01:05)Jowy Wrote: Btw just in case, I will concede if or when everyone else has. Unfortunately for you Civac does look like that guy and everyone else has conceded. I'll just check that they all still want to..

With the amount of cannons and knights I'm finding, I would be dead if he attacked. That removes any regrets I might have had
Gavagai (wisely) signed peace, so the dogpile is officially over. ![]() Demos with Civac now out of Golden Age. ![]() Power difference. ![]() GNP. Still pretty good after losing 4 cities and mass whipping.
Hi, I just wanted to say I was really impressed by your defence. I joined Commodore in the war against you thinking it would be a quick easy 2v1 on the path to stopping Civac's snowball, but obviously that didn't pan out. 'Bogged down' feels like an understatement. You've inspired me to really want to try out the max-commerce NA strategy in another game sometime. I'd never seen NA played before at all, let alone well, and it was really cool. Albeit frustrating.

Same happened to me against Charriu's city hiding pro longbows in PB52, which is what inspired me to go for this You can skip NA and pick a better Civ. Barracks + Vassalage paired with Protective will still give you easy enough CG3 longbows. |
