I guess Blake's thinking was more: What is the most versatile leader - e.g. which leader would be suitable for a random map. Of course even then I'd still prefer Willem over Brennus.
I have to run.

I wouldn't say two less Archers but 2 more pop which means 60 (base) hammers whenever needed. If charism is any good depends hugely if you can use the extra pop or not

I would really like to see someone go down the hammer economy in this game. Olodune did it in one of the more recent adventures (I forget the number) and it was a very very good report - I enjoyed it a lot. Not sure if it would be feasible in MP though I don't see why not...

It's feasible, it just shouldn't be the core of the economy. It tends to fit quite well with Rep and science city crammed full of settled GS though.

Anyone else think that should be 1E?
Oh, and wouldn't the 3f, 1h fur tile be quite superior to the silver?

I would still prefer his initial location (1 south) and yes to the second. No need to hamper your growth to get BW a few turns earlier if you don't have a worker.

What do you guys think about SleepingMoogle's plan for his Great Prophet? I expected him to use it or the Buddhist Shrine...

This can't be good?

Whilst it may seem like a move, I can assure you that there is method to my madness!
I want to work the 2F,2C water tiles ASAP as the extra commerce will improve my tech rate before I get Pottery and doesn't compromise massively on growth.
The prerequisites for Pottery are The Wheel and Agriculture OR Fishing. If I am to achieve my goal of a Metal Casting Oracle grab, I need to research the techs as fast as possible.
Fishing takes 1 or 2 less turns than Agriculture, and allows me to work commerce tiles alongside the silver mine before Pottery. Then once I have pottery, I have cottages + water tile + silver mine to get my research rate flying through the religious techs and possibly Archery.
Agriculture isn't really that important as I can make a camp on the deer already and won't need the extra health from the corn until after my Oracle grab.
I may be wrong but I like my strategy and I'm sticking with it.
Fishing>Wheel>Pottery>(Archery)>Mysticism>Polytheism/Meditation>Priesthood

(Use Stonehenge's prophet to bulb Monarchy and then Oracle Feudalism for Guerrilla Longbows)
I highly doubt that the Oracle will be available by T61, when he pops his prophet. If it's not, bulbing Monarchy seems kind of a waste and maybe he will adjust his plans accordingly when the Oracle falls.

Considering he has Corn in his BFC, its probably not worth it.
