Anyway, I never got around to reporting the back half of last turn. But I logged in to see how this turn was going to go. First off, the barb attacked into Noble and lost, giving him 2xp. \o/ We now have the option of sending the other warrior back to Cockaigne, but I'll wait for Lewwyn to confirm that's the plan.
Astute observers will note it was indeed Commodore who founded Hinduism, as he revolted to it this past turn. Not entirely sure what he was waiting for, as Spiritual, but so there it is. I'll be expecting an Oracle build from him shortly.
In other barb news, the other wandering warriors advanced on Valhalla and Cockaigne as expected.
After taking this screenshot I decided, eh, what the hell am I waiting for there's no way we're not killing that warrior with the chariot and attacked the barb at 99.1% odds:
So after that, I ragequit and this preturn report ends here.

Tough luck about the battle, by the way. I really dislike these all-or-nothing combat mechanics from Civ 4; Civ 5 is way better in that aspect, in my opinion. The odd low outcome battle really imbalances things in the few numbers of the early game.

The amazing thing here is that we had the crappy 9.9% bad result covered. I'm not sure how you play the game planning on covering for .9% bad results on t58, though. I mean, we'll get another chariot there soon but that will obviously delay hooking up the copper.

Yeah... I've tried to get myself to think about what's next about a dozen times since this happened and mostly instead I think about logging in and retiring to AI.
