I have no idea but for gambling pupose, I place my bet on "14"

The way, way over. Pitting triremes and galleys against a destroyer is like pitting warriors (not spearmen; warriors) against a tank.
(Not quite the same: Ancient Boats against a Destroyer is actually worse.)

Given the Destroyer gets 1XP per battle, that might be a pretty strong DD by the end of the turn...

What is the probability of a galley scoring 1 hit (never mind 2, that should not happen) if someone has that around in a test ?
I guess it does not change much with injured destroyer, so multiply by 10 the 'expected' number of galley to average 1 hit.
Not sure SD got even that number in his stack...
