Team 4 has Team 2 as their neighbor in the north. Futhermore they share ~20 tiles border both with Team 3 and Team 1 from the south. From team 1 Speaker and Sullla are closest to TMIT. Speaker is located SE from him and Sullla directly south. I don't remember exactly, but from memory they both are ~15-20 tiles apart from TMIT. There is jungle and lakes between them.

At least TMIT knows his micro. High-level SP Ancient Start play will translate poorly in a lot of ways (probably good for him that the only diplo is internal team negotiation, not team-to-team), but he's got the knowledge base to learn quickly if he wants.

But Team 4 is still screwed.

I like the new guys. Anyone know them from CFC enough to tell if they have any chance at all to beat Team 1?

Too late. TMIT seems fairly decent though (not on Speaker or Sullla's level, but far better than Kuro)

I know TMIT quite well, both from CFC and from games we play together semi-regularly. His preferred play style tends to involve making quick moves from intuition rather than necessarily going through all the options in a huge amount of detail. Despite this, he almost always makes the right decisions, and is pretty darned good at the game.

Just curious, did any of the other teams discuss this?

I don't think so. People like Bureaucracy too much.

Holy cow! Speaker's capital hits 20 hammers and +5 food at size 9. With a forge or bureaucracy, it builds 2-turn settlers. Though it requires quite a bit of worker action before it reaches that level.
