Figuring out the general timing of the GA requires a much more extensive sim. But this gives us an idea of what works for the Moai city.
If we want to delay it, maybe we should sneak in another useful tech before Music?
If you know what I mean.

There are very little useful things to build next turn, if we don't whip WB. Spear would probably make most sense then, but I don't like the amount of whips needed during the next 15T. Was Moai 200 hammers or what?
edit. oops we can build Library also. I'm in favor of building it next turn and whipping WB the turn after or alternativley build WB utilising e.g. lake tile.

Don't we want to finish Music first so we know we got there first?

Currency would be very useful. Delaying music that long is a risk though.
Moai is actually 250 hammers i.e. 125 real hammers with stone. This changes my mind. 3 whips during the next 15T is best after all. Therefore putting a turn to spear now is good idea. I don't have the in front of me, but I think following could work ok:
T0 - Spear
T1 - whip WB
T2 - Moai
T3...~T10 - Build Lighthouse grow to size 5
T10 - Whip spear
T11 - Moai
T12 - Whip Lighthouse
T13 - Moai
If we really optimize this we should have ~95 real hammers towards Moai at this point (might had to work plains tiles so farming one of them might be good idea)
~T19 Moai ready. This would be few turns later than making the 4th whip, but I think the city would be much more functional to start golden age

Working the lake also sounds like a decent option. The extra food is almost bound to make a difference at some point during all that whipping.

I can't believe you whipped Moai in one of your sims.

At least it was only in the sim.
Are you a global lurker, btw.? Or can we enlist your services?

I am nominally a global lurker, yes. How would I be of service anyway?

I've been thinking our tech path and I think I would be willing to take a risk of losing Artist and going for Currency before Music. The trade routes would be significant boost to us and after GLib lands other teams have less incentive to research Literacy. Maybe we could snadbag overflow beakers from Archery+Priesthood so that last part of Music would be finished with it minimizing the beakers we need to invest there in case someone else gets the Artist.
