I was reading the double move rule and just to clarify. If I declare war at the beginning of my turn before I move anyone I can attack right away (same turn) I only have to wait the 9 hrs if I move my units and delcare war at the end of my turn.
Correct?

Are we going to vote on map settings or just leave it up to Sullla? (I am fine with leaving it up to him completely). Will he give us any information about the map before we choose our leader?
Also, is talking to civs you haven't met yet in-game allowed, and what about sharing map information or screenshots before paper? Either way is fine with me but I would like to have this clarified.

I think we should leave our comments about what we would like, then let Sullla design the map...

Okay, so that's the order? I'd like to wait on picking leaders / civs till we know what we know about the map. If sullla just says hey's it's a surprise, then okay, but if we're going to make some comments / suggestions about what we want, then that could influence civ / leader choices. Like you might not want a unit with a sea-based UU on an all-land map, that kind of thing

Yeah, I think we should definately be picking leaders and civs after the map is discussed...

Floodplains corn and forested deer for me, please :D
I don't think we need too much detail on the map to choose leaders, simply roughly how watery it is should be enough.

I'd like galley/workboat contact with all civs possible (and nothing unexpected like forcing city plants in specific places to get access over ocean to meet the other half of the world, either )
I'd like a...generous map, ie don't spare the resources...
other than that I'm easy.
