Really not sure why Hyborem declared war on Elohim BEFORE negotiating, I don't think a new player holding up the game for a day or so to do some diplomacy would have been inappropriate. I'm sure he could have gotten some concessions from WK in return for not forcing him to blow the worldspell.

Darrell thought Sanctuary only lasted 10 or 15 turns and he could do his damage after that. Everybody is surprised that it goes a full 30t on Quick without scaling down. Darrell also didn't figure out that anybody he threatens can gift their cities to Elohim to hide under the world spell too.
Are we sure that's true? I really don't see why it would be when all the other analogous spells scale down. But Dis is gone either way because it's right next to Elohim territory.

I've got some dirt on my shoulder, can you brush it off for me?

It definitely should not depend on which worldspell it is. And yeah, I agree it's an exploit.

Also, what is going on with this game? I haven't paid much attention lately but here's what it looks like.
1) Thoth is going for ToM. He just said so. 2) WK is going for Altar victory? And attacking the Sheaim instead of following through with the dogpile that has been planned for an eternity?3) Mardoc is...not sure what he's doing. Lots of building. Is he actually invested in attacking Thoth? 4) Nyktorion seems to be the most invested in attacking Thoth, since he talks about it in basically every post. But it seems he's the only one... 5) And Heisenberg is mostly focused on defending from an attack by WK, as noted by you guys. 6) Darrell isn't really thinking very well and expected WK to contact him diplomatically when he didn't do that himself.
