Pretty much everything has to focus on increasing output in the first 50 turns of a game. Archery doesn't have any economic benefits. It does make sense if you have to clear a neon pink dot if acne off your face and you don't have anything better to do it with, but when they made that decision to research Archery they didn't know azza was going to do something so...forthright. It's a decision that was bad when they made it, so even if it works, it wasn't a smart decision when it was made.

But as it now stands if they don't archer-rush Azza, he will chariot-rush them. After the city was founded, archer-rush has become the only right option, I think.
