Was a decsion reached about contact with the Infernals pre-summoning and if not allowed, is human take over still desired?

My understanding was that it was a no contact between players and the future infernal player, and that human take over (ie you, Thoth)of Hyborem was the preferred option.

Guys, I realized only now that I have vision on a Unique Feature (didn't see that when I rushed it yesterday night). I think that would be no issue normally, but there is a unit on it with the Held promotion (and several others) which does show the Illian flag. I also can click on it, so it is obviously my unit. Does anyone else have something similar? If not, what should we do? I don't like to pay unit support for it and I am not sure if this unit will somehow interfere with me having a high enough unit for FotT or similar wonders. I am also not sure what will happen if the one living nearby plants a city and pops the unit away with it's culture (apart from the earlier contact and free scouting info I would get for quite some time [C2,D4 unit]).

I am terribly sorry, but due to a mapmaker error that can't be fixed, we need a restart. Mardoc and lurkers know what is the problem.

Ok, I can fix my problem (tested it with old save, unit is deletable), so the question is, do we really need a restart for yours Mist? Yeah, I am obviously leaning towards a solution without restart as I would really like to keep that tech

Yes. Unless you want someone to run about with Athame ( Yersinia's sword, +3 Strength and +50% of causing plague in combat ) from very early in the game. I don't.

Ok, lets reload then. But I would be in favor that when this sword is deleted (and the Azer I own) the hut on my doorsteps is deleted as well and I receive instead the tech I popped already. I know that this request may lead to heated discussions, but I feel that otherwise I will be disadvantaged for something I am not responsible for.

Ignoring the fact we had no huts to pop on t0 and thus they are possibly randomly placed....
There's a lizard lair three tiles from our starting spot ( thank you very much for that Mardoc btw :neenernee ) that by pure RNG luck didn't spawn a defender on turn 0 and is possible to pop. Unless you can guarantee that repeats I'm not willing to take the possible bad luck knowing you ( and the Clan, since they got a hut tech as well ) keep your exceptional one.
