Oh come on, you know you'd use the Cloning Vat to give yourself an extra team member. Or for world domination.

I believe I said this already, but I will not serve as an administrator for this game. Since Speaker and I are playing against a number of individuals from this game in the other Pitboss game, it could create a conflict of interest scenario, which is fair to no one involved.

For what it's worth I do not favor a game admin for this game (note: not the position of the Indian civilization). I prefer the RBP1 system where reasonable human beings follow the rules as they're best able, and new rules are added as needed (which is not the same as old rules are changed). Despite the fact that I agree Krill is a good game admin I continue to believe the vast majority of "rule disputes" amount to either "I am not aware of the rule, often because the silly player who created the planning and IT office threads didn't link to it properly " or "I do not like the rule as written, so I will pretend like the rule is confusing or ineffective in order to try to get the rule changed to something I like better."

Isn't it more often "the rules say nothing about this and people have different assumptions"? That seems to be the case here at least. You can't really cover everything that people may have different assumptions about in a ruleset.
I have to run.

Just a heads up, but I'm working 12 and a half hour shifts this weekend, and I'm on nights, so if I seem to be playing the turn at odd hours that's why.

Have you checked with Whosit? As Galactic Emperor, he should have a supply of Spaarti Cylinders laying around.
On the topic of reloads, I would not mind allowing reloads for misclicks that fall into the category of catastropic, game changing misclicks, similar to the "reasonable reload" policy that Sirian wrote for the epics ages ago. That's for misclicks only, not for things like failing to notice you'd not selected a build, that you'd screwed something up, not seeing that a city was in danger until it was too late, etc. Repeat offenders could be charged pauses for them.
While I'm posting, I might as well say that while we're not quite (yet?) the team holding the game up, RefSteel for sure and Cull I think are unavailable to play tonite, and I'm stuck at work for another hour, so it'll be at least about 90 minutes before my team can play its turn.
