Reading TADs thread it feels like he should have kept the GS point card if he even wants to leave open the opportunity to recruit Hypatia via faith: it reduces the faith cost which would have an impact on all other currencies via settler and builder purchases.

He might get even push another player to spend gold and faith they don't want to.

As I am first in the turn order I have 2 turns, or do I have only 1 turn to get Hypatia? Damn that close timing.

Great People points are added at the beginning of each player's turn. TheArchduke better buy Hypatia on his next turn if he wants her.

Archduke makes illegal move. You can get outlandish $$$ by pillage-farming CSs, so that has to be banned. I just banned pillaging $$$ because you can fail to capture CSs on purpose... Someone less cynical would just ban farming but my rule slipped through.

Who's more salty? Archduke or Pindicator? I say Pindicator because he has no chance of winning so this game feels like a job to him.

More Archduke salt! In regards to the rules my plan of just banning Australia would work here because Persia would be at war with everyone anyway.

What are the rules if the war was declared before russia becomes suzerain ?
Should we interfere in the global thread ?

Hard to tell when he declared from Cornflakes thread. I do remember discussions before the game that if you are at war with a city state before they have a suzerain, then you can continue the war if they gain a suzerain.

I wish I could tell that the turn pace will get better reasonably quickly because sub, pindi and Kaiser will die shortly. cornflakes and tbs are goodboys so they won't hold up the turn pace. Do you think Archduke+A will make it to that point?
