err - what was the first poll? Teams? Are you planning on burying them all in this thread or in discrete threads?

My votes for polls 2-7:
2) 18 hours -> 12 hours -> 24 hours
3) Unrestricted leaders -> Restricted leaders
4) Civs only -> duplicate leader and civ but not duplicate combination -> leaders only -> none -> exact duplicates
5) Teams submit lists of choices and are given highest available choice in a random team order -> teams submit lists of choices and are randomly assigned one -> Sullla picks for everyone -> random
6) Quick -> ... -> ... -> Marathon
7) Noble -> Prince -> Warlord/Monarch -> Chieftain/Emperor -> Settler/Immortal -> Deity

5) Teams submit list of choices I get mine and everybody else is on thier own....oh that wasnt a choice .. Randomly chosen in order of preference -> Sulla picks -> Random -> Teams submit list and randomly chosen from list
6) Normal -> epic -> quick
7) Noble -> warlord/monarch -> Prince-> Emporor ect...

4) Duplicates: unrestricted: Allow duplicates (otherwise some people are going to get the really overpowered combos and others will be screwed). Otherwise this is going to be really unbalanced.

6) Game speed: Quick>Normal>Epic>Marathon?

By the way, should there be a poll on tech trading / brokering? I am curious whether such a large game would be better played with no tech trading at all.

FYI I'm not tallying these answers in post 1 in real-time, since the answers are pretty complex. Instead I've created an excel spreadsheet with everyone's preferences.

OK, looks like we're going to have 11 or 12 players in this game. That's fine, as I was running some test map scripts with 11 entries last night. I think I've found something really cool and unique for all of you to play around with, if all goes according to plan...

After sunrise finishes the current poll, I'll have a few map-related questions for the teams to answer as well.

Unrestricted: I've seen a neat way of doing this from another game; create a random ordering of the players. Going down the list each player/team selects the Leader of their choice, then you go back up the list with each player choosing a Civ.

6) Normal > Quick > meh

7) No preference
