Yeah, he's at least more fun.

Org is avery strong trait, in my opinion same like fin if not beter at least for toroidal maps and were you can have a large empire, why?
1 Cause civic upkeep is a seriuos mater.
2.casue you get CH way faster becasue theyr pricese(before forges for example) so you have them 15-20 turns early save you alot of money.
But org to be a realy good trait for you is that you dont play it same like finacial, and there most of people go wrong, spam cotages in all cities and go with them as large as posible.Well with org is diferent get cotages in 4-5 cities other cities get fast CH and other improvents whch need(you can even buld wealth, not a shame to have a high slider) and this way to get fast to techs which gave you an adavantage(beter workshops , comunism) and with superiour infrastucture go ahean and whip out an oponent.

Since no one has picked a civ yet I could update the starting shots where you guys think they need it. Whose specifically are we talking about? I gave extra visibility where I thought it was needed but i guess there's disagreement. I know one of them will move onto a plains hill with a scout and find the missing food (wheat?) but that shouldn't matter all that much anyway. Even if they go worker first they can research ag by the time they need it. AH would be different if they chose the wrong civ but I think in the one case I'm thinking of it shouldn't matter.

But thanks for pointing it out, this is the first time I've been through the process on this end and there's a lot of stuff to not screw up. Also I rushed out the screen shots in about 20 minutes while a particular human I am responsible was under a BE STILL spell cast by Dora the Explorer. lol So I don't doubt something went awry.

I wouldn't make any changes at this point. If it's a bit uneven, well, so is the entire map.

My personal preference is to either not see a starting screenshot at all, or to see the entire BFC of wherever you place the initial settler, regardless of whether the terrain naturally would allow this field of vision. There is an almost ingrained sense that wherever you start should be seriously considered as a strong site to settle the first city, and I think giving the entire BFC is reasonable. That said, yeah, don't go fiddling around now.

Honestly, I think everyone should be able to see all the food in their BFC before picking civs. Sure they might be able to research agriculture, but they might chose civs with techs they might not necessarily need, such as prepping for a fishing start.
Its especially odd that you showed the grass cow for one start but wouldn't show the main food for the other.

Okay, so, I was 11 for 12. Not bad, except for how it is terrible that it is that easy to predict.

He picked Ramses of Mali when there were already 3 IND leaders.

I think Hannibal was a better pick TBH. And only 2 for 3 on the civs so far...
