And each of those three were suboptimal. If nothing else, this shows just how deep the bans should cut for anything new to show up.

Well, you picked up Babylon so you grade out at 87.5. A solid B+ on your mind reading exam, Commodore.

Well shit that didn't take long. Zanth moved and got gold at his capital. I didn't see it before, but ignoring the gold he couldn't see, was taking a turn to move to a plains hill to gain a plains cow worth losing a fish at the capital? I didn't think he'd take the bait.

I would definitely do that.
1) Plains river cow has better early game yield than fish. (Long run you get both anyway.)
2) You already have river corn so the fact that you have hammers over food isn't really bad.
3) A worker can improve the cow in 4t, while the fish needs 30h which is very hard to achieve with that city and will leave the worker without work.
4) Fish requires you to move 1W or the workboat will spend two extra turns in transit. But if you move 1W, you're not next to the corn anymore and you're not on the river either.
5) AH is a more useful tech than Fishing in general, for someone who has Agri/Wheel to start. Maybe it enables chariots.
So, it might even be worth moving for the cow just for these reasons. But the fact that you get a plains hill plant too is worth a ton and makes it a clear choice.

OK, that's a good assessment. But I definitely should have seen the gold and moved it away.

Yeah the map rolled heavy on trees. Should make for a fast start for everyone, and it's good no one got India.
