The clock is actually running quite a bit slower than I expected today. There is still almost 10hrs left on it. Nevertheless, as I'm going to bed, I have gone ahead and paused it for Rome. Anyone still needing to do things this turn should, of course, go ahead and unpause it as needed, so long as they repause it afterwords.
I know that's a good bit of time to leave, but, I think in the event that the Roman team has disappeared, it would be best to leave a reasonable ammount of time on the clock in case a replacement player need be brought in so he'd have ample time to play his first turn. If that's not agreeable, then bleed the clock down a bit more as desired.

Sorry but can I request a reload and possibly a pause too? We ended up not moving most of our units and a lot of other things last turn

If Portugal is using a pause, I've no objection to a reload to as late as reasonably possible last turn.
