I'm fine with doing no ban list. I just think it's silly to have everybody be a financial leader just so they can keep up with everyone else. I mean, in a NTT game nobody is going to choose Catherine, Shaka, or Isabella if they can choose Willem, Ragnar, or Mansa.
We'll end up with 4 financial leaders, and if we're going there we may as well allow two players to choose the same leader. My preference would be to ban all financial leaders except Wang Kon.

Well, I've got you a new map design that I think you'll like, but I need to say that you will have a coastal start, and a navy will be important on this map.

That was Krill's most recent statement on water.

Settings as I think you've agreed to them, probably worth checking if that matches where you thought agreement was reached if there's anything you felt strongly about. Also worth making sure you think everything's covered

Leader & Civ bans - I believe everyone is happy with India and Inca being banned. Ellimist & Kuro want to ban every Fin leader except Wang Kon, as Jkaen isn't much fussed I think that gives the majority to that ban - if NobleHelium is OK with it (leader choice feels like this isn't a place where anyone should feel railroaded into something they're not happy with).

No-one commented on my suggested play order? Which was:

Ellimist (2300-0300GMT)
NobleHelium (0000-0400GMT extending to 1400 via Lewwyn if necessary)
Jkaen (0500-0700 or 1700-1900GMT)
Kuro (1400-0800GMT)

I've not played in one of these games, so I'd like some comment from someone more experienced

For snake pick & to choose which person plays first, this needs randomised - I can do it or you can get someone else to if you'd rather. (Get someone else if you want it to happen before 0800 GMT tomorrow )

I haven't ever played any of these either, so I can't help with the order thingy, heh.

I see no issues with the ruleset and formally agree to it, though I still wonder why the Great Spy can't make Scotland Yard? I feel like I'm missing something...

If people are fine with a player randomizing it, I could just use dicerolls at random.org to decide snake pick and stuff.

Okay, I think we're cool with banning all FIN except Wang Kon, but we should ban Suryavarman as well if that's the case. Unless you guys want to let me pick first and take him. Ban India/Inca as discussed.

Mapmaker choice between Prince or Monarch is good, but Krill please pick before we pick leaders. When we say settle/GA for GSpy that's taken to include Scotland Yard too, I assume, since you are sort of settling him.

And yeah, let's have pling randomize the snake pick as well as play order.

About Choose Religions, I strongly think that should be off. Which religious tech was taken should be public knowledge.

Also, can you tell us whether we'll start on different islands, or would you prefer not to say?
